dated my bestie xinya out after her return from Greece. were both feeling adventurous for something new so we tried...

creamy mushroom soup
salad with vietnamese dressing & a parmesan toast
arrabiatta fusilli with prawns
smoked salmon open sandwich
my kind of comfort food. smoked salmon & cucumber slices on toasted hamburger buns- just a a deconstructed salmon burger. the broccoli carrot coleslaw was hearty & wholesome as well (:
dessert was a sampler of 4 yummy mini cakes!

carrot cake so delightful with walnuts and a touch of spice. chocolate marble and peach cheesecake were both so good that i can't help but crave for more... those were seriously too mini for me. haha.

we lazed through the meal so much until we realised we were late for our movie at the Cathay! Just at such a desperate time like this, it had to be raining cats & dogs. eventually got drenched like a luo tang ji.
Enchanted
while soaking wet & freezing cold in the theatre.
i so loved the movie! it was literally a classic Disney animation meeting contemporary urban chaos of New York City. had such a unexpectedly novel plot with a smooth-flowing twist & a wonderful happy ending (:
from fairytale to reality...

Princess Giselle comes to the real world and falls in love with a divorce lawyer.
& that's my favourite chip-lookalike chipmunk!
moral of the story?
a storybook view of romance can survive in the real world.
just do not eat apples. LOL.
