omigosh i felt so bad after telling huiling's kinda-funny riddle to them.. it was totally unintentional (since i was just following on with valerie's first riddle) but i think melvin's gf was offended.

valerie asked the table... what did sushi A tell sushi B?
sashimi (okay i have no idea why)

then elaine went on to ask val... what did 0 tell 8?
-aunt gina & uncle andrew requested for me to repeat it so that they could join in. so elaine repeated loudly: WHAT DID 0 TELL 8?-

some wild guesses made but they gave up eventually.
elaine revealed the answer... 0 told 8...
fat jiu4 fat lar, hai2 yao4 dai4 belt!
(fat means fat lar, still must wear belt)

-entire table laughed HAHAHA, and then something struck me, the girl laughed too but then murmured something to melvin. i think everyone else saw it too. awkwardness. UH-OH.

okay i was stupid enough not to realise she was there and wearing a belt. seemed like i was trying to shoot directly at her but please, it was 100% unintentional & coincidental. oops.
