patronised Mr Jones for dinner.
not really
damn good food at a damn good price...
but with damn good service!
-referring to the person on the right-
you can never find such a great server at coffeeshops -this is the exception- who made our meal doubly pleasant. the incharge at this branch is approachably chatty (: he actually took the initiative to offer packing up our uneaten fries for us in a takeaway box lined with foil, plus chiili & tomato sauce, a menu booklet and their namecard.
through our conversation he revealed a new branch opening in hougang and seeing that we are pretty fond of BJ, he gave us a free deal. imagine receiving an invitation in my letter box to Botak Jones' opening! free food maybe? haha whee.
we gorged on fattening food.
second bestseller cajun chicken plate! yummiiieee.
the meat was hot and tender and crinkle fries nicely sprinkled with spices.
the double botak burger, not u-crazy-what. $2 more for sliced cheese.
half portion turkey sausage. sends your sodium level rocketing omg.
he wanted to attempt the U-CRAZY-WHAT challenge but decided against it eventually. right choice made. after finishing that heap of fries and coleslaw, the burger bun couldn't even be swallowed. but we still WHACKED for dessert, haha!
blueberry cheesecake
when it arrived, we were like HENG AH.
this really small slice was a hover around the average fare with flaws like a rough and a slightly salty aftertaste which i didn't exactly adore.
i gotta say, the chicken's quite good.
