Simpsons Lameness

No cca today so it was an early dismissal for me to catch up with him after that random conflict. first filled our tummies with the most delicious chicken rice ever- Ming Kee!

attracting a perpetual queue everyday here is a stall so deserving of its fame- they probably serve up one of the best renditions of this local dish.

Steamed White Chicken Rice- a $2.50 plate gets you an impressive heap of flavoured rice beneath 8 fulfilling cuts of thick chicken slices. Grains were excellently savoury, offers firm bite with an adequate glaze of grease while the meat came tender and luscious.

order of extra chicken for the boy.

act cute! =x

also had beansprouts to share. everything so affordable and satisfying..
thumbs up for my favourite stall!

i managed to cheer up with
The Simpsons Movie
as i snacked on my moviebite;

a Cinnamon Croissant from Delifrance.

the simpsons movie

i was never a big fan of the Simpsons but this feature film based on the hit television series was quite an entertainer. Lame yet light-heartening, with an underlying agenda that striked me quite abit.

main gist of the movie was how Homer Simpson, a selfish soul, mistakenly dumps his pig's waste into the town's river despite a 'Save-The-Environment' campaign rallied by his own daughter Lisa Simpson. This sets a lynch mob after their entire family and they are forced to flee to Alaska.

throughout the movie there were lots of hilarious father & son crap... to induce laughter and expose all negative traits of Homer.

the classic scene!

that's Bart Simpson but i shall not elaborate on details.
let the pictures do the talking, heh.

of course, the ending had to feature Homer showing some repentance from his self-centeredness to rescue Springfield from a radical plan of containment by the US government...

from shame to glory.

moral of the story?
SELFISHNESS IS UNDESIRABLE.
and i do get it.

i got a new bottle from minitoons and i can't believe its Chip & Dale. LOL. also tried out a new Pretz Green Tea flavour from fairprice which didn't turn out too bad... at least better than those Wasabi Nori or Soy Sauce Squid flavours i suppose =x.
