i skipped the college's National Day celebration because i really really overslept. not considered pon haha. met the animals at cityhall for Sarah's early birthday lunch.

Changing Appetites @ Marina Square

i did the reservating after we confirmed the venue. all went for the same main course on the $8.90 set lunch menu. extremely value for money... there was a soup & tortilla, main dish, dessert and free flow of iced lemon tea.


Cheesy Mushroom Chicken- looks pretty shiok huh? theres like BBQ sauce, two types of melted cheese and even spiced fries.



dessert was a tiny chocolate fudge cake with vanilla icecream.
anyways, we gave her a hair straightener as requested. hope it is of productive use. LOL.

then moo left & the three remaining shopaholics continued at bugis junction + bugis street. time was running up for our next appointments so we could only browse briefly. omg i cant believe i got lost around the new extension!

despite my attempt to cover for my own share, i eventually didn't have to fork out a single cent at all. thanks for the treat (:

we watched the Journey to the Centre of the Earth, after analysing that Love Guru could be a waste-of-money kinda show. pepper-dinnered before that.

hah, so this wasn't too boring after all. at least it was action-filled and better to sustain interest and attention. the effects were pretty good too.



i'm glad there are still dessert spots that cater for the night supper. made a triple scoop design-your-own sundae at ice3. that place rocks!

back in time to catch the final part of Olympics opening on tv.

my conclusion for the day: there's still so much to see at bugis street and im going back for sure! if i can find the time, haha.
