Birthday Celebration: Dearie

2 Days Before...

bestest celebration ever with him.
his plan was to make me feel like a tai-tai for the day, and it did succeed. with a price to pay of course- taitai related stuffs never come cheap.

Unable to get the car, so he made sure we travelled everywhere by cab. then further showered with pricey food, lovely gifts, and many surprises. *million thanks.

lunch @ Royal Copenhagen Tea Lounge
-the place i so wanted to come!

he reserved a table beforehand so we were given the window seats where we could enjoy a view of the roads along orchard. he ended up being so engrossed in his car-observation & admiration session, haha!

classy-looking cakes (:

The sweet pink menu featured a variety of elegant and delectable dishes that i couldn't decide where to choose from. was caught between the open sandwiches and the main course but i eventually took my salmon. favourite fish of all times!

petty shells with shrimp & asparagus. a tad too bland, to be missed.

my salmon & potato gratin. pan-searing was quite well-done with the entire skin crispy, but the cream sauce and potatoes pretty cloying.

his selfish pasta in a delicious tomato sauce. the menu reads: " so good, you'd be too selfish to share!" LAME

a pretty note-worthy slice of marble cheesecake i must say; cheese soft and chocolate rich. especially liked its atypical base made of butter and almond bits.

Copenhagen Scones.
oh man, bestest scones ever! fluffy, mildly fragrant baked wonders complemented by yummy raspberry jam spread. most probably made-in-house as well.

After a futile attempt to locate the correct bus-stop, we cabbed down to Suntec instead...
Build-A-Bear Workshop.. an outbranch of the one i saw at Las Vegas! that silly boy, he says i needed a new friend to accompany me while he is in the army.

I was probably the oldest bear-builder in the store; mothers do not count. had lots of fun relieving my childhood obssession x) LOL.

say hello to my new huggie!

NOT FOR THE HUNGRY SOULS.

it contains my iloveyou heart, kisses and wishes.
its mine.

Mr Woodcock @ Suntec Eng Wah
his next surprise came along.. seats N1 & N2 was a sofa seat separated from others by walls. it did shock me quite a bit. only cons: it was so comfy i kind of fell asleep, heh.

John Farley, Mr Woodcock & Beverly

it was a lame lame story of how John plots to break-up the relationship between his gym teacher and widowed mother- abetted by his nerdy old pal Nedderman. quite pointless but good for some laughs.

My treat to yami yuki ice cream!

nothing compared to his spendings, but at least its something liked. if only the greentea flavour could be stronger.

cute bunny mascot (:

cabbed away again.
